The bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Ma is located just off route 2 on the Mohawk Trail. It is a beautiful place to visit. This is a foot bridge so, you can talk your time walking across it while admiring the flowers and the views.

The bridge has had its ups and downs. It was renovated in the 1980's and cleaned up after it survived the wrath of hurricane Irene.

Brimfield, Massachusetts - Antique Fair 3 times Annually
The Brimfield Antique and Collectible Show takes place three times a year outdoors in the quaint town of Brimfield, Massachusetts. Brimfield is located near Sturbridge, Massachusetts easily off the Mass Pike (route 90) and onto route 20. The show offers 23 fields full of antiques from Majolica pottery, Roseville Art Pottery, chenille bedspreads. Bakelite jewelry, antique quilts, vintage cameras and victorian furniture. You never know what you will find at the Brimfield fair.

Western Mass Region Defined
Western Massachusetts is what Wikipedia calls a loosely defined area of Massachusetts.It includes Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire Counties along with the Pioneer Valley. It also includes parts of Swift River Valley and the Quabbin Reservoir.
Western Massachusetts has a great number of attractions including the Berkshires and Mt. Tom. The Big E is held in West Springfield, MA, annually. There are great art festivals and museums like the Clark in Pittsfield, MA. Dr. Suess was born in Western, Ma. So, was Emily Dickinson along with many other famous writers, painters, actors, comedians and radio personalities. Western Massachusetts is host to a plethora of colleges including Smith, Holyoke and Amherst College.
There are plenty of things to do like shopping for antiques and eating at fantastic restaurants. This blog will help to break down events and activities by town. Enjoy the site.
