The Basketball Hall of Fame located in Springfield, Massachusetts is a 40,000 square foot facility that is home to a huge basketball collection, gift shop, basketball court, banquet facilities and more. The game of basketball was invented by James Naismith at Springfield College. The original basketball Hall of Fame was located at Springfield College until the sight outgrew its location.
